Crimson Crush OOTD

A little casual outfit post today for a day of placement in the buying office.  Suuuuper comfy yet still trendy.  It started off with my mom jeans as I was feeling comfort was high on my list of importance today and these are THE COMFIEST pair I own (and probably will be the comfiest I'll ever have).  The high waist makes them extra roomy and the light wash makes them a staple piece that will take a while to be 'out' of fashion.  I threw on this crimson roll neck to keep me warm in todays gales and rain and dressed it up a little with a body chain and statement belt.  I'm dying to get some nice fresh spring pieces on and hopefully blog about them soon.  Black ankle boots are an obvious choice to team with the cut off of the jean and threw on my oversized gorilla coat to finish it off.  I fell in love with this coat from nasty gal as soon as I seen it and am still the exact same.  It always feels so glam.  Hope you guys like!

ps. excuse the bad pics, everyone was out and had to resort to the front camera on my phone!

Casual kimono

This white blouse is on it's last legs I wear it that much, had to blog before it hits the charity bags! I literally wear it constant and it just goes with everything!!! It's  soooo effortless! Teamed it with black coated skinnies and ankle boots for a wee night at the pub.  The material of the blouse and kimono are soft which contrasts well with the harsh black and is so comfy on! Gold jewelley dresses it up slightly making it feel a bit more glam.  Favourite item through the past few months most definately!  The bags a new little purchase from Rome, the white is nice and fresh for the coming spring (if ever we get one!)
Kimono- river island (last year but they have some similar ones in just now)

Boiler Suit Affair

Okay this is my first outfit post and its all based around this TOPSHOP boiler suit I absolutely fell in love with.  As its absolutely freezing here in Glasgow its great for dressing up without going all out and allows you to channel the 80s, minus the lumi legwarmers!  The fabrics actually much thinner than it appears in the photos and has a slight luxurious shine and so this again makes it much dressier.  As the shape is pretty masculine I've decided to team it with feminine accessories.  The necklace I've chosen has been a staple piece in my wardrobe the last few months as it dresses up any outfit and looks much more expensive than it actually was!  Such a comfortable outfit which looks and feels great on!

So this is my first blog post, yay! Wasn't sure what to make it on so I went with my most recent trip to the beautiful city of Rome, Italy.  This was a trip arranged through my university and it was one of the most spectacular places I've ever been to (not that I've travelled nearly enough).  Our trip consisted of visiting the beautiful sights of Rome and an exclusive tour of Rome's world renounced GUCCI store with tonnes of shopping throughout!
Here are a few touristy snaps..

And now here's for the good ones, the exclusive GUCCI tour..

The store staff were all soo lovely and gave us a fantastic insight into the history of GUCCI and into the inspiration behind their signature signs.  A favourite piece of mines has to be the iridescent shine twill belted jumpsuit from their 2014 Cruise Collection shown above coming in at only £1610, if only eh?!
